The Bawang Assan longhouse along the Mighty Rajang River, the village boasts of eight different longhouses all within walking distance of each other.  Upon arrival, a warm welcoming by your host and brief you some longhouse information, culture and local practice.  Go for a village walk in the evening, meet with the friendly local community. Come back in time for a very beautiful sunset view at the jetty and be mesmerize with gentle flow of the mighty Rajang River.

Dinner with your host on traditional Iban gourmet experiences by having Manok Pansuh (chicken meat cooked in bamboo), Miding (Wild fern) and others.  Join the men and women to taste the Tuak (rice wine) by relaxing after a day and sharing stories & legends with some of the villages in the Ruai (Veranda).

Morning enjoy the fresh morning breezes in the view of the Rajang River.  After breakfast, you may try your hands on weaving rattan mats, even fish nets. From shooting with blowpipes to fishing by the river, your hands will be most definitely be as busy as your day is filled with activities.  Cook up an Iban culinary storm in the kitchen.  Let your foster Iban family spin you tales from ancient times and what each symbol mean to the elderly mystics.
